      Voted as one of the best employers in Asia a couple years ago, working for NXP Semiconductors is now uncertain.

      Pros

      Balanced compensation considering work and family. It doesn't squeeze all your time for work even during the most trying times.

      Cons

      Since the spinoff from Philips, the only direction for NXP Semiconductors is south. Most of the factories worldwide are now sold bits by bits to other companies but at the same time it is also acquiring niche companies to bolster its position into key semiconductor markets. Competition is tights and only the best employees survive: if your factory is not sold.

      Pros

      Company pay large portion of pension for employees. Work atmosphere is good. Colleagues are friendly and open to each other. They like to share knowledge and get the things done together Good team work.

      Cons

      Very unstable organization. The compny is being cut into pieces and sold. Reorganization happens too often. Salary grows up slowly.
