Pros

Innovative product/ solution, fast growing business, great culture & talented people, strong leadership.

Cons

Fast growing client base can lead to more work than there is time. Product has such broad applicability in almost every industry - it can be hard to choose which solution to focus on selling.

Pros

excellent fun-loving and easy to work with coworkers. everyone prioritizes team success. fast moving environment with lots of opportunity to make contributions across multiple levels or areas, never need to worry about getting "stuck" in a narrow role.

Cons

when i was there, due to weak alignment between sales/biz and engineering, projects often came in with incomplete requirements and challenging deadlines that required engineers to jump through some unnecessary hoops. projects would change in fundamental ways during the iteration phase with no protections in the contract, so as an engineer it would get a little disheartening to realize that factors beyond your control were guaranteeing you couldn't really create value.

Pros

I worked with a really great team of bright, fun engineers. There are some interesting engineering problems to be solved at the company, but unfortunately access to working on the interesting stuff is very uneven.

Cons

Poor management has somehow produced an ineffective engineering team out of a really talented group of engineers. The team is split between working on solved problems (like writing it's own lousy version of ZooKeeper) grinding engineers against repetitive tasks that would be solvable if they were treated like engineering problems (never-ending data munging but no attempt to actually build a platform to solve common data needs) and madly trying to keep the pile of technical debt it's produced afloat.
