Pros

Everyone is enthusiastic and passionate about the future of the company. Your are surrounded by driven, focused, and helpful co-workers. In all my years and different professions, I have never witnessed a collaborative strong work ethic in a company. Narrative Science management is both transparent with the staff and open to any ideas or questions they may have.

Cons

Not a bad thing and can be quite stimulating, depending on you - Be ready to change plans on tasks and goals. They move fast. are always willing to drop what they are doing then, and move in a more prosperous direction.

Pros

Outstanding people. Employees are some of the most creative, fun, smart and humble individuals with whom I've worked. The technology is cutting edge and delivers value for customers in unique, high-impact ways. It is inspiring to bring data storytelling to life. The company is constantly evolving, which can be both a pro and con, depending upon a person's interests, strengths and experiences. A pro for those motivated by start-up culture, a con for those more comfortable in the familiar. No question, Narrative Science is evolving to meet the market and that requires a hefty lift through change for all. Beautiful office. I'm inspired walking into the space every day. Lots of natural light, open seating, (real) plants and large standing desks for everyone.

Cons

NS has been more inwardly focused the past few years bringing a new product to market and that can be taxing and tiresome for some. The frequent pivots and reorgs that come with this evolution can be hard, particularly for those to new start-ups or young in their careers. Leadership is working to improve its company communication so there is evidence of change, but of course this takes time.

Cons

-Can be all-encompassing given nature of what we are trying to do - but that's the fun of it, in my opinion
