Pros

The only pro about NEN is that you are able to drive a company vehicle around on a specified route and are generally unsupervised.

Cons

I worked at NEN full time for almost a year. I had two weeks of "training" from several different people who really had no idea what they were doing and i eventually had to learn how to do everything myself. When i told the territory manager of this problem he pretty much shrugged it off, he also had a hard time understanding English. I was given outdated route information, if i were to call a repair specialist for one of the machines he would either not answer the phone or be extremely disrespectful towards me to the point where i would just want to hang up, pretty much no help whatsoever with a "you can't fix it yourself?" attitude even though i had been on the job for less than a month, didn't receive ANY training on how to fix the machines, and didn't even receive the proper tools i needed to fix these machines from the company. I HAD TO BUY THE TOOLS MYSELF OUT OF POCKET. If you are going to work for NEN, be prepared for low pay (12$ an hour to do the amount of work that most people do for 18-20$ an hour), disrespect, and a generally unprofessional environment where "specialists" don't even understand what they are supposed to do.

Pros

Company van. Work solo. That's all

Cons

Too much work and too much stress. Micromanged is an understatement. Constant threats and pushed to do more. They want the world and they want it yesterday. If you work hard they say work harder. Any achievements made they reference as ancient history. If you try to defend yourself you are told that McDonald's is waiting for you. Used to have 401K match and bonuses but they were taken away a few years ago. They will literally spy on you if you miss your sales goal and then set you up to fail. Next to zero support from anyone. You are promised things that never happen and you are lied to. Commission pay so your check fluctuates. Be prepared to lose your good route that you have worked hard on for several years then one day management gives it to a brand new employee with no warning and you take a thousand dollar per month pay cut. How is that fair?

Pros

Can't think of any, maybe work and home balance.

Cons

Management is disorganized and complacent to verbal abuse from fellow Jr. Management.

Thank you for taking the time to share regarding your experience working at NEN. I wish we had been able to have a conversation before you left, so we could have improved your experience while you were still here. We appreciate learning about where we could improve training and communication. Again, thank you for your feedback, so we can address these concerns and make the next employee's experience better.
