- Collegial environment, with friendly & active group of people - Many opportunities for growth and innovation - Good location, many interesting things to do nearby - Easy to get in contact with upper management, and low amounts of red tape - Many interesting and non-standard avenues of business to explore

Cons

- In the throes of modernization, but many old systems & hardware are still active. Many employees have to learn outdated or unusual techniques to do their job properly. - Lack of standardization in some business practices can lead to confusion

This was great place to learn the Industry. They provide great Training and experience and an opportunity to grow your career.

Cons

You are often treated like a servant by management and even a robot at times. The sales division is now controlled by Zurich emp[loyees who methodically got rid of all old employees who did not fit their new mold. Long term good performing employees were destroyed when they were blindsided on their firast performance review by the new management. Stay away from sales at GMAC Insurance

Pros

Managers and co-workers are a pleasure to work with. Overall, it is a positive work environment. Great pay and great benefits. Upper management appear to genuinely care about the future of the company and the success of its employees. The location in Winston Salem is great - located within walking distance to many restaurants etc.

Cons

As with any company, there are employees that are not happy with change.
