Pros

decent pay structure, great benefits, 4 weeks pto

Cons

the company recently changed how a lot of things are done, the pay was restructured to pay us less, there's less room for sick days and call outs (up till this year you could call in 8 times throughout a year, now you get 2 days before getting dinged) and theres too much company restructuring happening so now half the managers don't know what the SOPs of the company are. mandated overtime at least a few days a year of full days

Pros

Most of the management has zero clue about how to actually run the IT shop, especially in DevOps. So It can be easy to find ways to improve your resume by reaching out to various groups and working up projects for them.

Cons

The lack of true leadership, listening to employees and technical skill within the management ranks create friction with employees who are truly passionate about the work, and less passionate about "culture". Very glaring mistakes were accepted and congratulated by management from employees with only a basic understanding of the job, while more advanced concepts such as security, privileged access, automation and clean code were either laughed at, or outright rejected. The culture is one of "circling the wagons" around folks who "tow the line". This creates so much frustration that employees who seek a deeper career experience will leave or be forced out.
