Pros

After 25 years with National Grid, I can say it has been a stable and rewarding place to build a career. The work is meaningful, safety is taken seriously, and the company continues to invest in infrastructure and its people. Benefits and long‑term opportunities have been a major positive. The relationships that have created and maintained thru the indusrty.

Cons

As with any large organization, change can be slow and processes can sometimes feel layered or complex. Field operations balance many priorities—compliance, scheduling, permitting, and coordination—which can be challenging at times. Communication across departments can vary depending on the situation.
