Pros

National Grid is a well known name in UKs energy sector and will always be a good add on to your profile. Company culture is progressive, inclusive, and professional. Gives all the resources to manage a good work life balance. Pay grades are at par with companies offer in midlands area.

Cons

Being governed by energy sector regulatory body slows things down sometimes but again I view this as an opportunity to make the most of it to upskill.

Pros

I really enjoy the culture here, and always have. We promote and thrive on diversity. Career development is strongly encouraged. You can progress as far as you want and even career change without leaving the business. So much training is on offer.

Cons

Some decisions aren't made quick enough, but this is generally the case with large organisations. However, i believe decisions are made with the best intentions and the consumer in mind.
