Pros

I really enjoy the culture here, and always have. We promote and thrive on diversity. Career development is strongly encouraged. You can progress as far as you want and even career change without leaving the business. So much training is on offer.

Cons

Some decisions aren't made quick enough, but this is generally the case with large organisations. However, i believe decisions are made with the best intentions and the consumer in mind.

Pros

The customer service department is a very transformative, educating and enlightening position, You will learn how to articulate yourself in a professional manner, how to de-escalate, negotiate, and how to think critically among other skills. It can be very rewarding especially when you are able to resolve a problem. The people here are also great. They will do everything to help and ensure that you are successful. National Grid is also a great company to work for. National Grid provides incredible benefits, pay and above all the opportunity for growth. National Grid has changed my life.

Cons

It can be overwhelming at first and very stressful when you are learning the system and all procedures. Lots of tests, in your first year the work life balance might not be ideal but over time it certainly does improve dramatically.
