Pros

The VP had a dream of transforming the org into a Product Dev model. Sounds like an exiting opportunity to jump into. That’s about it, a dream.

Cons

The work culture didn’t let the dream flourish. There were red flags, all over!Thing are done this way mindset never shifted. Engineering teams were from all possible vendors around the globe costing burnout of millions of dollars. The builder mindset never developed. The push to build a strong engineering team didn’t materialize.

Pros

Flex time, good cafeteria offerings

Cons

Ignorant micromanagers who focused on the next shiny thing, were unavailable for conversations or support, and treated employees like machines. Verbally abusive and dishonest manager in another department who crossed the line.
