Pros

Nice people to work with. Most want to do their jobs and get home. Work life balance is good if you demand it --- but unless you are one of the chosen few, it will derail your career aspirations.

Cons

Communication from management on changes is meaningless. No career progression path. Favorites are selected even if they are unqualified.

Hard working people with a passion about their job

Most folk work 45-50 hours a week and use it as a point of pride to put themselves above others. Vacation time also is use it or lose it and you can’t accrue or carry over
