Pros

-good pay -benefits -fascinating work -good training -very safety oriented -strives to be inclusive and actively encourages women to join STEM

Cons

-communication and other small issues stemming from NG being a massive company -have to be away from home frequently for weeks on end and travel far to Eakring for training -the peripatetic nature of the work might not suit certain people

Pros

I love the flexibility of National Grids hybrid work model especially given the geographic size of my service area. I appreciate the emphasis the company places on wellbeing and employee collaboration that embraces technology.

Cons

Development of division or departmental budget could be more transparent. Use of technology for collaboration is great, but with such diverse teams across the US and UK, there could be more emphasis on targeted in person team building across the company. There is a disconnect between operations employees and management employees.
