Cons

Too many layers. Too slow. Too cheap. Ineligible directors. Its a whale.

Pros

The training you received to do your job will be very good. This company is very strict on safety so you have to follow safety rules and it can lead to termination

Cons

One of the biggest cons about this company is that a lot of the old school Italians that have dominated this industry for years have a hard time adapting to the fact that minorities now are just as likely to work these same jobs as discrimination is no longer tolerated in the work force. Once upon a time you would have to know someone or have a family member who can get you into National Grid formerly known as KeySpan or Brooklyn Union, not anymore. The lack of diversity can still be seen in some departments, and those jobs or departments are hard to get into.
