Pros

Excellent place to work. I learned extremely valuable information by working for a big company. There are many different departments, I was able to get exposure to many of them.

Cons

I had a fair amount of downtime. I would have liked to have several projects that ran for the duration of the summer, but, I had shorter term projects.

Pros

I worked in the Waltham office in MA, and the environment and people were very pleasant. Everybody knows the company and pay was competitive with the internships my friends had. My direct manager was always helpful and encouraging, and with multiple interns spread across the building it is easy to socialize a bit with your peers.

Cons

They did not seem to be offering many full time positions. While understandable for a public utility, there are a lot of consultants who are often listened to more than the junior staff, along with a lot of bureaucracy and back-and-forth emails.
