Pros

You won't find a company less likely to fold than a utility. If you're looking for a 30+ year job, this is a great place to find it.

Cons

Very unfocused upper management, sometimes seems like they churn just to keep changes happening.

Pros

Compensation is on par with the industry, especially when perks such as sharesave scheme are included. Very good and flexible working hours. Friendly and supportive colleagues. A lot of focus on training & development.

Cons

Very hierarchical structure, little visibility of management's priorities. Some roles are very process-driven, require very little creativity. Hard for good performers to rise quickly. Hard to get things done without explicit management request.
