Pros

The pros of working at National Grid are the people. You work with people who have the same values and goals as you do. I have had the blessing to work with a manager who is diligent and cares about the advancement of his engineers. My growth has skyrocketed because I have been placed in an environment that thrives on learning and trying new things. My teammates have allowed me to question them constantly which has allowed for a community of education.

Cons

Some of the cons at National Grid pertain to the many gates that have to be passed through in order for things to get done. There are standards in place and I think some of them may be outdated but we stick to them out of ceremony instead of what helps us move forward efficiently and safely.
