Pros

I can’t think of any

Cons

The phrase “toxic work environment” is often overused but absolutely applies to this place. Management actually does bully, manipulate and intimidate the workforce, and these practices breed the same behavior in the rank and file as well. The possibility of enduring harassment and bullying from your co-workers is high. If you have a shred of ethics you do not want to work at NJH because they have none. Additionally, HR is squarely in the middle of that as well and if you seek help you will end up being seen as the problem no matter what is actually happening. I have never worked in a more horrible atmosphere and would not wish this place on my worse enemy. By the way, the high ratings they get as a pulmonary institution are only achieved by their connections to another hospital in town. Other institutions will eventually overrun them.

Pros

Employee discount at the cafeteria.

Cons

Horrific pay with minimal increases (if there's one at all). Incompetence runs rampant throughout all levels of management.
