Pros

Great healthcare & retirement benefits. Central location in the loop.

Cons

Lots of focus on titles. I like the ideals the CEO discussed but never saw management apply them. The staff is stretched very thin in certain departments, leading to a poor work-life balance. The Chicago office itself is very outdated, and in need of renovations.

Great place to start a career

Pros

Great facilities and perks. Pay, vacation and benefits are pretty good. Work is generally not overly taxing or difficult. Great place for a young employee looking to get some corporate experience.

Cons

No chance for advancement unless you are close friends of a VP. Favoritism and friendship ties mean much more than actual performance. The best leaders either leave or are let go, those that stay are in way over their abilities. There is a great deal of "looking out for me", and not much customer focus.
