Pros

Gov provides really good benefits.

Cons

NSA has some of the worst leadership programs and consists of some of the most mismanaged offices I've ever seen. Most of leadership is only concerned with getting their next promotion no matter who they stab in the back.

Pros

The contracting office encourages employees to obtain Contracting DAWIA certifications. This department also allows rotations to explore different contracting offices.

Cons

Contracting specialists without high-dollar value warrants can feel like secretaries to the contracting officer (whom you will work very closely with), lack of autonomy if your contracting officer is a micro-manager, job requires lots of data entry, there's minimal creativity for entry-level specialists.
