Unique mission set, some interesting travel opportunities, flexible work schedule

Cons

Toxic security division that arbitrarily destroys careers and harasses dedicated employees, slow career progression (competitive promotions at every grade), the polygraph is interrogation, parking at Ft Meade is generally terrible, pay is not competitive (for STEM fields), lots of brain drain, very little done to retain technical talent

The recent guidance is to put a COVID-19 vaccination mandate in place, even for people that can't get the vaccine for medical reasons or for those who had a severe allergic reaction to the first shot. Sure, the leadership, or more accurately, the Biden administration, will say that it's not a mandate. They use a very clever loophole so that it's "technically" not a mandate, but the message is clear: CONFORM AND GET FULLY VACCINATED, OR WE'LL INSTANTIATE PUNITIVE MEASURES AT A LEVEL THAT'S SO HIGH YOU'LL WANT TO LEAVE
