Pros

Truly an amazing jumping block into the world of social work. Most supportive staff and coworkers you could imagine. Very non-judgmental atmosphere. Everyone is very helpful. The work introduces you to every aspect of social work: court hearings, unannounced home visits, home studies, IEP meetings, and much more.

Cons

Some travel is required. Office buildings are not very nice, but they are state-funded facilities, so it is to be expected.
