Pros

For the most part, the people I work with are super nice, great people. The company values life and family outside of work, which is amazing. You're also surrounded by people who have never worked anywhere else (for better or worse), which can feel suffocating at times. They call it the golden handcuffs- it's an amazing place to work, and eventually, you feel trapped and like you can't leave- which, to some, is a good thing.

Cons

Like any large company, there's politics to navigate and long/slow processes that come with having thousands of employees who work for one company. Coming from small, scrappy companies in the past, I get frustrated by the people who don't work too hard/have learned to do minimum to get by (which is easier at large companies).

Pros

You will receive a bonus.

Cons

You are treated like a toddler, you are forced to take tests to move on or to receive a promotion and being treated equally is not or ever going to happen. Please be aware if you are 10 seconds over you lunch break because of having to use the restroom, you are in trouble. If you do not take the Series 6, you are shunned. And lastly, if you do not take as many calls as you physically can, you get deducted from the "score card". Trust me, its a prison.

Pros

People focus: Smart, collaborative people, positive energy, investment in employee growth, promotion from within, encourages diversity and inclusion. Individual experience depends heavily on the direct manager's style.

Cons

Large company, so not as agile, partially bureaucracy and partially just age and size limitations. The top level does recognize this and is investing in improvements.
