Pros

A great place to grow your career and the people are amazing.

Cons

It’s still very formal and some people seem like corporate robots. Hierarchical, tons of sign offs, and lots of corporate politics. Your experience will differ greatly based on who your leader is, which is also true of any company. The last leader I worked under was absolutely toxic.

Pros

When I started, it was a very employee focused organization. Nationwide was very involved with the community and valued feedback, and strategies were clear and made business sense.

Cons

Over the past 5 years, the focus is ONLY on cost cutting. Little to no focus on community, sponsorships, associates and values and strategy is unclear and seems to drift from month to month.
