Pros

Federal job and retirement pension on top of 401k

Cons

Federal rules mean pay below industry standard, so key positions are filled external canidates (lowest bidder syndrome)

Pros

Slow paced work as a sales associate. Moments where you have to meet customer demands is pretty easy. Flexible scheduling

Cons

Non progressive company. While they have been lax on dresscode, they still dont allow a variety of people with body modifications and dyed hair to work here. They claim its because of "military standards" but your work is comparable to any other retail chain. My location is always shortstaffed and your work load is always more than what you're payed. Raises are cents on dollars for "exceptional work" and theres little room in the company to improve unless you're one of the few that get promoted before they hire someone else for more experience. Will make you question your life decisions working here as they never take employee advice and criticism.
