      Flexible work hours, cool product, difficult engineering challenges

      Cons

      Culture promotes burnout and criticism. Codebase and code quality isn’t prioritised at all, and systemic issues are met with “skill issue”. Ideas aren’t approved based on merit but on clout

      - Strong technical leadership and healthy product development culture using Shape Up instead of sprints. - Flexible, outcome-based work environment with minimal micromanagement. - Great office space and an energised team of problem-solvers passionate about their work.

      - Paid company events, the most significant being the multi-day offsite. - Complex and interesting product, with many technical challenges - A few nice and competent colleagues - Flexible working conditions

      - Very controlling CEO, who insists on fine-grained control on all projects. - Manipulation and bullying in work culture - If you please the CEO, he will give you what you want. Otherwise you'll be disciplined. - Unpaid overtime expected - Things that challenge the notion that the CEO is exceptional will be met with intense covert hostility. - Ideas will be stolen (used without credit) - Uneven compensation - No path for career development for junior engineers
