Pros

Neighbourly is a fast-paced, growing business. You will certainly never be bored here. If you are someone that shows a desire to learn and grow, Neighbourly will support you all the way. Neighbourly care about their employees and the engagement of their teams, we have associate days at least twice a year to bring everyone together as well as some great benefits such as your birthday day-off after a years' service, we are all owners, buy and sell holiday, performance bonus and a lot more. I would recommend Neighbourly to anyone who is driven and wants to work within a fast growing company with a lot of variety.

Cons

The company is fast-growing, meaning there are some big targets to achieve. If you are not one for working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment, then Neighbourly probably is not for you.

Poor leadership with minimal pay

Hybrid and remote opportunities with minimal micromanagement. Friendly environment & good teamwork at the job work level

Nepotism is at its finest in the hiring process. Upper management is hired based on who you know and not qualifications. Because of this there is a major lack of knowledgeable support to the franchise businesses. Your industry experience and length in your field make no difference because your feedback is never taken into consideration, and when it is, it’s presented as their own. Even though you are told several times “you’re doing a great job, and your work isn’t going unnoticed”, and no matter the amount of hours and passion you put into your job, there is never “room in the budget” for promotions and raises and/or the decision is always “coming from above”. Even though you are more qualified for open positions, you are passed up and friends and family are hired at management levels. Loopholes in the hiring process; the job is posted even though the person they intend to hire is already given the job, making it look like they’ve followed proper procedure.
