Cons

Supervisors will find any reason not to give you a promotion/raise. Management has a disconnect between what needs to be produced to fill backorder, vs what can actually be made because of lack of ingredients/time/equipment. Pay is below industry standard. Production schedules can change between when you walk in the door and when you check the computer. Everyone is always quick to shift blame when something goes wrong, and if you're at the bottom of the totem pole, it's probably going to land on you. Best to just keep you head down, follow instructions exactly, and not go out of your way to go above and beyond because it won't be rewarded anyway.

Pros

The people you work with on a day to day basis are usually great, fun people. Good insurance program.

Cons

Basically just a number to the corporation, only concerned with how much product you can pump out, don't take mental health or production boundaries seriously. One of their selling points is that you can advance quickly but are constantly making it harder and harder to get promotions. Management thinks very little of their production employees.

Most of the people are nice.

Cons

Very poor communication, “training” on manufacturing changes consists of being handed a sheet of paper to sign and being told “here, sign this”. Little to no training on attendance system, where to access employee manual (was never given a physical copy), petty disputes between shifts that could easily be solved by better communication.
