Good pay and work life balance, but that’s about it.
Pros
* Pay is much higher than similar jobs at similar companies * Workload depends a lot on the client, but it’s usually pretty laid back * Remote work
Cons
* The company is disorganized. You work with different people on each project, so it doesn’t feel like you’re part of a team. * Job insecurity. The contracts that Ness rely on are highly sensitive to booms and busts in the tech sector and thus layoffs occur frequently. * There are very few mentorship or career development opportunities. * Culture. I can’t even critique the company culture because there really wasn’t one. I know being remote makes it harder, but they could have done something to make it feel like more of a community. There was only one social event the entire time I worked there.
