Pros

I joined Net at Work as a Project Manager working with NetSuite and Acumatica back in February 2026, and it has been exactly what I was looking for in my next role. The PMO team is truly amazing, they are supportive, collaborative, and highly knowledgeable. From even before day one, I felt welcomed and encouraged to ask questions while getting acclimated. Having a mentor available to help guide me through processes, tools, and day-to-day responsibilities made the transition smooth and stress-free. Net at Work offers a great balance of independence and teamwork. I’m trusted to manage my workload and projects autonomously, while also having a strong team I can rely on when collaborating or problem-solving. The work is engaging, the expectations are clear, and the environment is professional yet personable. The fully remote setup has been a huge plus. I appreciate the Monday–Friday schedule, the respect for work-life balance, and the flexibility to work from home without sacrificing collaboration or connection with the team. Compensation is competitive, and leadership genuinely values the work PMs do. Overall, Net at Work provides a positive, supportive work environment with great people, meaningful work, and strong leadership. I’m very happy with my decision to join the company and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a remote position and great company culture.

Cons

The internal time entry system takes a while to get used to. That's my only complaint though, I really enjoy my work here otherwise!

Fast-Paced Learning Because MSPs handle many different issues daily, you’ll gain experience quickly and develop strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Career Growth Opportunities Many MSPs promote from within and offer certifications or training programs, making it easier to advance your career. Strong Job Security MSP services are in high demand as businesses outsource IT to reduce costs and improve efficiency, so roles tend to be stable.

Cons

High Workload & Stress Supporting multiple clients often means juggling priorities, tight deadlines, and frequent emergencies. Lower Pay Compared to In-House Roles MSP positions sometimes pay less than equivalent roles at large enterprises because MSPs operate on thin margins. Limited Specialization You’ll become a generalist rather than a deep specialist since you need to cover a wide range of technologies for different clients.
