Great company to work for, but going through a bad time....

Pros

Good work culture, good work life balance. Good productivity tools makes the job of engineer easier. Good facilities like free snacs, juice, soft drinks and beer bash. Good salary, bonus and hikes.

Cons

Bad execution strategy, not so quick to react to market requirements. Many layoffs happened in last 3 years, sometimes even twice a year. Many good employees were laid off.

Cons

(1) Lay-offs every year for the past few years. (2) Two forced vacations a year. (3) The internal tools are so frustrating to use

Pros

Compensation is good and above the market. Facilities are very good. (Juices, every Friday beer bash, evening snacks) Work life balance is good if you are competent enough

Cons

No innovation encouraging culture, majority employees are not aware of patent filing process. No encouragement for innovative ideas. Poor leader ship leading to lay off (almost every year) Same work is done in different teams( lack off clear cut processes).
