Pros

A small company with a lot of openings.Little policies/rules to follow. Senior management are unprofessional, interview procedures are simple.

Cons

Salary is lower than market value. No proper training, but your workload is always heavy. Lack of communication/support, and no clear evaluation procedures. Therefore, you don't know when/how you were let go. Turnover rate can be high. Senior management are unprofessional. Unreasonable expectations at times! Overall atmosphere and work culture is bad.

It's a shame to see those fake 5 star reviews

Instead of resolving the real problems mentioned in the bad reviews, the company is busy making up 5-star reviews to pull up the overall ratings... The leadership may think those reviews are some kind of revenge from the former employees, but why so many bad reviews here? If your employees really feel satisfied to work for you, why bother to take time to write bad reviews?

We always appreciate people taking the time to share their feedback on NetBrain, so thank you for the review. It's worth pointing out that Glassdoor has a very strict policy against the same posters posting more than once in a year. Second posts from the same account in a single year are removed. There are 31 posts of 4 stars or better since the beginning of the year and the vast majority have 5 stars. We certainly recognize that we're not perfect and we have room for improvement, and that's why we value this feedback so much, but I can assure you there's nothing fake about the posts on our page. 31! That would be a heck of a conspiracy! Between our new product release and our efforts to grow revenue, our people have more than enough to do without spending time telling tall tales on our Glassdoor page! I don't know if I'm the most qualified person to get into the psychology of why people would take the time to write a bad post or a good post (though it's an interesting topic for sure), but what you can find on this page is a wide range of viewpoints. There are people who love working here. They believe in the product, they believe in the mission, they enjoy their coworkers and they're excited to be a part of what we're doing. Of course there are people who feel differently. I suppose that's unavoidable at any company. It's impossible to make everybody happy, but what we can do is listen to their specific feedback and do our best to improve for those people while making sure to preserve the things that are best for as many people as possible. If you do have specific areas where you think we can improve, please don't hesitate to share them. If you're not comfortable taking them to your direct manager, your HR business partner is there to support you! We're going to continue to strive towards improvement and growth. We appreciate any and all feedback and I thank you for the review!

Good times don’t last forever

Pros

Good product with lots of promise and lots of opportunities to work with exciting companies and new technologies. Many smart, hard working people that want the company to succeed.

Cons

Opportunities come to a select few ‘chosen’ ones, where you’ll be given a lot of chances and feel like your voice is being heard at first, but in reality you’re being asked to put the CEO’s incoherent thoughts into something meaningful. Company is stuck in the same repeating cycle year after year, scratching programs that don’t yield immediate results, only to rehash them 6 months later. Except each time it has a fancy new name with the same lack of direction. Company is so out of touch with the ever changing IT landscape and insists on telling customers how they should be managing their network as opposed to adapting with the times and providing a product that is meaningful (the software could do this if they focused where they should). Morale is very low and all of the top talent has left or will leave soon. This will open up chances for some people until they either get frustrated, burnt out, or tired of the broken cycle of monotonous work and projects that lead to nowhere.

We appreciate and value your detailed feedback! It's great to hear that you enjoyed some great opportunities and our many great people during your time here at NetBrain. Growing a company through large transitions can be a difficult thing to do, but we believe that we have the talent to get to where we want to go. Over the past two years, we've switched from perpetual sales to subscription, we've built a field sales organization and we started an EMEA sales organization. Those are just a few of examples of massive changes that are necessary for our success and take time to put into place. That being said, we remain committed to the direction and plans of our sales leadership and even in a year where customer budgets have been ravaged by Covid-19, we're still on track to end the year with our highest revenue number ever! When all is said and done we will have achieved that on the strength of great people and a product that has never been more relevant than it is right now. Our sales team continues to close deals with large enterprises who see immense value in the way we're able to help them transform network operations. Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're working to get better every day and feedback from our people helps!
