Pros

At the start of the pandemic, management told us that they would do everything in their power to make sure we all had jobs at the end of the year. I’m happy to say they kept their promise and no one was laid off.

Cons

There’s a couple of people on staff with some massive egos.

Thanks so much for recognizing our pledge to keep people together and our success in doing so. We don't want to get too big of an ego : ) but we're pretty proud of that!! All kidding aside, I can understand the ways that some personalities clash. There isn't a company in the world with more than 100 people where everybody gets along all the time. We do our best to create a culture where people feel like their ideas and feedback are welcome, and I can say first hand that I've had a conversation with somebody from the executive leadership team who preached the importance of having a "Listen like I'm wrong" kind of culture. Egos come into play in almost every scenario imaginable in life, let alone in the work place, but if you need help navigating a particularly difficult disagreement, the HR team is always here to help. We make it a priority to hire great collaborative people. Hopefully if you have a difference in opinion, you can find ways to directly, politely and constructively handle them directly with the other party, but HR is here to support you if needed. Pros

So far, so good. I haven’t been with the company for too long, but I already feel right at home. Everyone is wonderful. Very talented and skilled, and I’m still amazed at how well the team works together even when we’re all entirely remote.

Cons

It’s been hard working from home during COVID. It’s much more difficult to get that sense of comradery with other employees.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with NetBrain so far. I don't know specifically who you are, but I know the kinds of people we've added to the sales team in the past year and can confidently say that whichever of them you are, we're lucky to have you! We've got awesome sales leadership and we're excited for 2021 and beyond to be truly great. Covid has certainly been challenging for people on a number of levels. There are the obvious business challenges, but it's important to feel connected and to have people you can lean on. I'd recommend suggesting a virtual happy hour or some kind of event with your team. If you're uncomfortable doing it yourself, I would suggest bringing the idea to your direct manager. We have important jobs to do, but it's important to also take time to enjoy what we're doing! Luckily, vaccines are going out rapidly and we hope to be back in the office this summer. I'm sure the ping pong tables at network drive will be buzzing soon!

Thanks for taking time to share your feedback. The technology we provide is unparalleled in the market, and I would contend that our people are more than solid! No doubt, we've had to adapt through some changes, but we've taken every opportunity to fill open roles with elite talent and I think we've been successful in those efforts! We've added an outstanding Chief Revenue Officer and a brand new role reporting to the CEOs office that will be running various Business Transformation efforts, taking customer feedback and turning it into results. Turning advice into immediate action is difficult. It's important to consider feedback and I promise you that all of the feedback is considered as we try to improve as a company. We're not perfect and we understand that. But it's also important not to be reactive or hasty when making moves to grow the business. We believe very strongly in the product, in our leaders and in our employees across the globe, and we believe that 2021 is going to be a big year for us!
