Pros

Some of the coworkers are nice and occasionally get a layover somewhere interesting. Great medical insurance.

Cons

Well below market pay. Brutal tours—multiple airlines, plane changes, crew changes, short layovers in some pretty poor hotels. Operations management is unethical and exhibits an astounding amount of favoritism. Department head unqualified. Dozens of quasi-managers (trainers) for a small work group. Current union leadership is ignorant of the contract and not trustworthy. Some extremely difficult customers. I only stay because I don’t want to start over in another field and I can hold 7 days on/off.

benefits, some great co-workers, seeing the world

Cons

Recent cut in benefits, some not-so-great co-workers, too tired and sore to see the places you get to, even if you have longer than 10-12 hours there, which is becoming rare.
