Pros
Netcracker product aims to be the top of the market and it really is in some areas. Company is very fast-paced. If you like challenge and don't mind the startup environment and ready to jump from one role to another - it's yours. Product (line of products) is developing all the time. Some areas are mature and really top of the market (like Inventory and Order Management). Others are young and unstable so there are lots of opportunities. One of the best-caliber demo/PoC makers on the market, really hard-working guys.
Cons
Most of the management have Netcracker as their only working place, so they just don't know other ways of doing business or organizing processes. There are lots of arrogant low-mid level managers treating themselves as gurus. Developers are progressing in Netcracker knowledge, not in Java/Oracle/other technologies. Product demos/PoCs (despite real Pros making them) have usually nothing common with Product itself and it takes months of hard work to put demoed features to Product. Developer turned System Engineer turned Business Analyst turned Architect during one year is possible.
