Salary and worklife balance was good

Cons

Fear of loosing job shows in everybody's eyes. Employees are even afraid of sharing knowledge due to the fear of being let go. Leadership lacks employee empathy.

If you are fresh out of university, it is a great place to start. Tons of visibility in the SE role, room to grow

Cons

- Solutions Engineering team does not provide any long-term development plan, you are expected to move in to sales at some point - Upper management seems to lack organization, constantly changing strategies and department heads - Tech itself is fairly far behind its competition, you're working on a legacy software set - Company culture is non-existent to downright dark at times - Pay is structured to avoid people asking for raises - Feedback is expected to be received well, but it is almost never implemented when given upstream to upper management

Our CEO just surprised us with a special holiday bonus. This is so great and unexpected during this pandemic. I am happy to work at a company that gave me such a nice surprise.
