Pros
1- Leading Telecom industry OSS/BSS product. No match with other rivals. 2- Senior management also assigned to project deliverable. This is quite unique and good for the company growth. 3- Compare with other OSS/BSS solution providing companies (Ericsson, Oracle, Amdocs etc), self training on NC product is very good. You can learn the product basic knowledge by own for each module, however not sufficient for the project work.
Cons
1- Each and individual has its capability when NC hired them. But, when you are assigned to project, everyone asks the NC product experience OR exact requirements for the project which is obviously very painful for the new joinee or for the new project. I would say very difficult to get the first project and positive feedback. 2- No leader in India, Pune who can fight for its newly joined employees for the project as it is dominated by the Russians counterpart. The decision is made by CIS team only. 3- First kind of company where resources have to find the projects with 'EXACT REQUIRED SKILL' for the project, otherwise you will not be getting projects. 4- There is no job security. 5- High Idle time to get the new projects.
