Pros
NetCracker gives me a lot of freedom. Freedom to each and every employee to think creatively and provide suggestions for improvement. Employees in NetCracker are encouraged to think independently. Everyone's idea is appreciated, and anyone can submit an idea that can be discussed at length and can be implemented in the product, if it can fits in the product road-map. For those who are client focused, this company offers the right platform to everyone with potential to interact with client, gain knowledge, improve client satisfaction. The environment helps to create high caliber analysts & designers, technical architects, etc. Hard work and out of box thinking is always appreciated. Everyone gets opportunity. Good time-off policy, flexible office timing helps everyone.
Cons
Cost cutting hurts. Sometimes, the technical people are made to work more on less. The technical people have to give all sorts of explanation on why a certain (industry standard) tool is required, when it should be available to everyone by default. Windows 2007 is still a dream. Reactive policies and credit taking should be stopped. This is delaying implementation of all good practices and lessons learned. Nepotism hurts. Some of the travel policies are much below the standard industry policies. It hurts. When it comes to benefits, it stands no where near any of the good employers in the vicinity. The medical benefit is not good at all for married folks.
