Pros

The people that you work with, the culture, and the flexibility.

Cons

Typical cons of any job, some people just don't play well together. If someone doesn't like a career here they wouldn't really like any job.

Pros

I have great co workers.

Cons

One of the highest turnover rates I have ever seen. Employees are overworked and underpaid and expected to everything with a smile. There is lots of meetings and talk of changes, but nothing ever happens. You receive minimal training but are expected to do you job efficiently from day one. Management promises deliverables to clients without consulting the project teams. Clients always feel that they were sold a product that does more than is possible and are constantly disappointed. The software solutions are awful and hardly ever work.

Pros

1. Great opportunity to learn more about and control an entire Software Development Life Cycle and Technology Stack. 2. Attempt at a relaxed Environment with free food in kitchen, free beer on some Fridays, free pop corn maker in kitchen. 3. Decent pay

Cons

1. Expectations can change drastically. 2. Employees (including management) act within clicks. It is ok to have a group of friends at work, but that should not affect flow of information or responsibilities and it should not imply favoritism. 3. Personally I would prefer a bonus to free popcorn or bagels. 4. Constant feeling of a shifting target. 5. The feeling that someone oversold the deliverable and now you're playing catch up. 6. Structure and process aren't all the way complete, you really have to be highly personally motivated to accomplish the tasks 7. Not participating in their socials can hurt your career advancement within.
