Get to work with some great people. Almost no overhead bureaucracy slowing progress down.

Cons

Wages are incredibly stagnate. Extremely limited opportunity for career advancement. Office woefully understaffed. Typically only a single developer and no QA working on a product. Upper management seems to intentionally run off any client they can't up sell to our more expensive products.

As an intern it's fairly important that you have somebody to bounce questions off of and I had more than enough people who were extremely knowledgeable in their field and did not mind one bit to help

Cons

There's a 20 word minimum on this section but I just really enjoyed the experience and had no cons whatsoever

They have excellent Work-From-Home opportunities if you're on the right team.

Cons

Netsmart offered a position using C# in new development, however once I began working I was stuck entirely in Silverlight and Visual Basic putting band-aids on problems instead of fixing them. The Sign-On bonus they offer is meant to try and trap you in a frustrating position working for an upper management team that isn't invested in the future of their products, and just wants them to limp along for as cheaply as possible.
