Pros

The junior developers told me they were very willing to learn from me, who had considerably more experience coding walking in the door. Apparently.

Cons

Their developers are overly sensitive to code changes. Their management, unlike most of the industry, wants an easy hiring process, and hires "contractors" who they "interview" over a period of weeks. They do not tell you what you do wrong, instead they accumulate your mistakes and let you know in your exit interview, with no opportunity for recourse. I know a lot of companies do this, and yes, i know how this sounds, that i am just a disgruntled, fired, employee, but what they did and how they went about it, it disgraceful, even for normal business practices in this fashion. This company is deplorable.

Pros

Going on 10 years with NDi, and we just survived another Federal Shutdown, 5 weeks furloughed and NDi was there, helping it's employees in every way possible. Extending vacations, providing references, and paying all benefit costs. NDi cares about it's employees as if we're family. The Talent has no weak links. All the employees are top of their fields and friendly. The seniors have no issues working with and teaching the juniors because they believe in promoting and developing their in house talent. The Projects are all cutting edge, usually large scale and always exciting. We are constantly learning new technologies, and growing in our fields. NDi prefers to work under a true Agile methodology of build, adapt, grow, repeat. The Desire in most of the people working for NDi is to grow. NDi offers traffic chances for furthering your skill sets and knowledge with paired programming, training opportunities and reimbursement programs. It's been an honor to work with NDi.

Cons

here are good and bad with all companies, and NDi is no exception. I would love to see more diversification in their clientele between both Federal and Commercial making them less susceptible to Federal whimsy. I would love to see a directional committee comprised of employees to help in deciding direction for future of the business, or other ways to strengthen the commitment and loyalty between company and employee.
