Pros

- Professional environment - Smart business decisions reflect good balance of risk vs. tradition

Cons

They face the same pressures most news orgs are struggling with (how to maintain fairness and balance when the audience is not fair and balanced). They increasingly cave to that internally and externally. As most news orgs do. But the expectations are higher for NYT. Career progression is a challenge.
