Pros

It is the only place where you get to work directly with the best editors, writers, and reporters. It's inspiring but challenging as well.

Cons

Many good people work here and bring a lot of heart to the work. It can become quite political quickly because of this. Many stay here for decades, so change and progress are slow and extremely resistant. Technology is consistently an afterthought and your team is not a priority. Management can vary quite drastically across different teams.
