Great company/not much room for growth

Pros

One of the best and oldest publications so just having the name on your resume is a plus. You can learn a lot and meet some really talented people here, but there isn’t much room for growth and it’s difficult to move up.

Cons

Not much room for growth.

Pros

Working for "The Old Gray Lady" comes with the cachet of more connections & sources and higher degrees of access.

Cons

Like all print-originated media, constant pressures of balancing journalism with clicks: traffic translates to dollars.
