      A good place to start if you're looking to work in the mortgage lending industry.

      Pros

      NPF has a good training program (offered $2k bonus at the time). They offer base salary plus commission (usually LOs at other banks will earn commission only). Friendly employees, team oriented environment.

      Cons

      No room for advancement to sales manager. After a year, you'll earn a $1 increase in hourly pay which is nothing. They hire from outside. Somewhat cutthroat.

      Pros

      Can be relaxed at times, the leads were 50% good.

      Cons

      when volume is down, its stressful and mngnt don't seem to have the answer to turn it around or be more positive. no positive reenforcement to motivate the staff. They have you do almost everything and when things went wrong, you paid for it and had to fix it, even after it has funded. Systems were so slow.

      Very friendly employees and great work environment. very clean and modern workplace. aggressive management team. growing company in a volatile industry

      Very volatile industry and long work hours expected. Poor benefits and compensation. very little growth potential or position movement possible.
