Absolutely terrible

Pros

Honestly I can't think of one good thing about this company.

Cons

You would make more in a restaurant 7.25 an hour base. The promise that everyone there is closing large numbers of loans and everything is set up for sale side. In reality it's the opposite, everyone is closing max 3 loans due to a convoluted underwriting process. Training is terrible either you get it or you don't and you have a week to absorb all of the information. The computer software they are designing is garbage. It stops working constantly. Oh and the 1500$ automatic withdrawal from your commission every month doesn't help either. And you won't be moving up in the company...ever.

Pros

Competitive compensation, exposure to a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment, and the opportunity to work with many hardworking professionals.

Cons

While accountability and policy adherence are important, I found the coaching and performance management process to be inconsistent. In my case, concerns that ultimately led to my separation were based on examples spanning many months, yet they were never addressed through coaching or corrective feedback when they occurred. This made it difficult to identify and correct issues before they escalated. After many years with the company and no prior disciplinary history, I would have appreciated a more proactive approach to employee development and communication. Managers have many responsibilities, but regular feedback and timely coaching should remain a priority to help employees succeed and avoid preventable outcomes.
