The building has good air-con and some of my colleagues are nice people. Sometimes we get snacks.
Cons
Working with a former Navy Seal who is filling in for several hosts while they are on vacation. He thinks he’s famous because he once met Donald Trump and is very rude and dismissive to anyone he considers beneath him. He is also the dumbest person I’ve ever met and his political views are insane - even worse off camera if that is even possible. Before I started working at Newsmax several people warned me not to because it was “the bottom of the barrel” and it was toxic to have on my resumé so I wouldn’t be able get a job anywhere else. That is probably true. Everyone who works there is trying to leave and is applying for other jobs. I wish I could get a job at Fox News instead, but I can’t since Newsmax is regarded as a joke within the media and my experience counts foe nothing. Frustrating!!!
