Management has a tendency of saying things and never following through. They’re at a stage where they are growing fast enough to get away with it but that kind of behavior eventually catches us

Pros

First let me start with the following PSA: 95% of the existing Glassdoor reviews have been written by experts that the company engages as part of its core service offering (one-time consultations). These tend to be very positive (and that’s valid), but they are not indicative of the working environment of real, full-time NewtonX employees. Furthermore, the majority of reviews by “full-time employees” have been strategically written internally to distract from authentic, less-than-positive reviews. That said, here are the pros: -Decent pay, especially if you’re a recent grad. Exceptional pay if you consider the amount of brain power (e.g. veryyyy little) required to complete job duties. -Intelligent and fun workforce. Met some fantastic people here.

Cons

-Job responsibilities are not intellectually stimulating in the LEAST and do NOT promote development of transferable skills. (Review before mine says that NewtonX is “fertile ground for creative thinkers”... that statement is obviously contrived and carefully crafted... Genuine opinions are not so formally composed, and that statement is the opposite of reality at NewtonX) -The work is EXTREMELY repetitive, such that each week melds into the next. The business model inhibits the ability to do any interesting work. The monotony is hard to put into words. (note: do NOT work here if you do not enjoy calling strangers all day long) -Management routinely misleads employees about benefits (e.g. contracts are not honored: “group health insurance” promised on contracts is really just $250 monthly reimbursement that you have to constantly nag management about; scheduled promotions are not honored) -Workforce is very apparently unhappy and under-appreciated, which will inevitably inhibit the company’s success

- Interesting project around creating a platform for b2b expertise access. - Fast-moving engineering team with a good blend of traditional and more innovative tech. - Hard-working environment, but with good emphasis on culture and meritocracy. - Fertile ground for creative, out-of-box thinkers

Cons

fast changes and evolution of the company can be challenging at times
