It is sometimes a bit scary to be the product manager and to have that much ownership on such an innovative product, but I guess this is part of the game!

Everything about this job was a "con." The company is run by 2 founders who perpetuate an environment of toxic masculinity. There is no communication from the top down -- there were multiple occasions where teams were not told about major changes (payroll schedule, vacation policy, benefits) until senior management was asked about them directly. This is NOT a place to work for someone who wants any semblance work-life balance, and often an employee is expected to stay until 9 PM or later each night. There are literally no benefits and the founders are not understanding of any personal interests or passions. I learned nothing while I was working at NewtonX, and no opportunities for growth were offered to me, despite being promised this during the interview process.
