Pros

lots of perks if you work at HQ and like working small business accounts, if you're not at hq then you're on the island of misfit toys and don't expect much support; help monthly charities in Phx area

Cons

was hired in for medium/large business and they don't have the products, support, knowledge,or know how of features they need to win business of that size; they also lack dedicated headcount to support or take care of medium/large businesses in terms of engineering, etc.

Pros

Nextiva is all about making a difference to our customers, to our employees, and to our community. Changing the way business communicates. Treating customers like family. Treating employees like family. It's like no other place I've worked.

Cons

At Nextiva, there's no place to hide. If you're looking to blend in, get lost in the organization, follow status quo, Nextiva may not be the place for you.

Nextiva back in the day

Pros

I've kept a close eye on Nextiva since leaving the company. I left in 2012 to go back to school. Back then it was a smaller company with super friendly and kind people, limited red tape and not many formal processes. It was a culture shock for me since I was used to working for larger companies with lots of processes and people in management. Since I was used to working for larger companies with lots of processes and people in management Training was practically nonexistent when I joined and my training was based on working with customers and talking to actual users as soon as I joined. We moved into a large office following being crammed in the office we were in before. I still keep in touch with many of the people that I worked with back then. The snacks and perks really showed me how Nextiva cared about its people. You don't see many companies doing what they do when it comes to taking care of their people.

Cons

This is a challenging question because I am no longer there. I would say better training and more frequent internal communication were issues we had to overcome while I was there. Since I'm not there I would think they have improved their processes. I was there when there were 100 people in the office.
