Pros

It's a new school type of company. I started in June and can say that it is noticeably different and better than working for a bank. At Wells Fargo my day revolved around a set plan with practically no opportunities to be creative or do my own thing. The thing I like about Nextiva is that gap it fills and I'm welcomed to do things my way. Part of the structure at Wells Fargo has to do with intense regulation. So far I'm liking the people I work with, the atmosphere, the perks, and just how the office is busy all the time. It's got life. The product practically sells itself. I haven't seen a business that does not need a phone. Therefore I think Nextiva will be around for a while. It's much easier than other business phones out there. Looking at the telephone system my parents have at their restaurant has helped me realize this. I think the future is bright especially after what I'm noticing in terms of enhancements. I see a genuine care for the people and even though I've been in this for almost 3 months it feels like I am a part of the team and I am valued. Not to be emotional about things but this is truly how I feel, somewhat challenging to explain. Coming from where I was at this is a great career move for me. I was paid less, not valued, had limited freedom, managed by 11 people in 4 years, stressed, and it also bled into my personal life. This is where I want to be and see myself doing great.

Cons

My product knowledge was nearly at level zero before I joined and I still don't feel like I have a confident grasp on what Nextiva is about. There's a lot to learn and I think there needs to be a more effective way to teach the product. Office space is running out. The lunches on Friday are awesome, I would like to see them everyday. I'm thinking of going back to school for my masters at some point and would want to have Nextiva help pay for it. As far as I know there is no tuition reimbursement program. Even with that I can't complain and that's why I rate this as a 5 star. I wouldn't be working at Nextiva if I wasn't committed and I think there is a lot of progress that needs to be made but I notice that there's a genuine care of make the company and service better. I will return to this site if that were to change but for now I consider myself happy with this. Something that helped me before joining Nextiva was I asked to speak to a few employees that work there, not just my manager and it was helpful to meet some of the people before joining and to get their perspective. This approach may be a good idea to implement for everyone.

Pros

I worked with some awesome people and we are still friends. Every day was busy. The office is in a good location There are lots of people that genuinely care about the company. This is different from most companies I've worked at and where I am now. The product they sell is useful for businesses. Growing fast. If you want to do more you can.

Cons

I left Nextiva since my wife decided to go back to school in Florida and if I were to come back to Phoenix, I would want to work at Nextiva. Pressure is high. Little room for error. Training needs improvement.

Pros

I've been employed with Nextiva for over a year and a half now and I love it! Not only does our culture rock! But, Management hands down will do everything to see you succeed! I have grown so much as a Sales Professional while employed with Nextiva. From Sales Philosophy training that you receive in the first week of class, to the time my lead, VP and other management have taken with me is more than I can ask for as a young professional in this business. There are so many exciting things happening with Nextiva's growth! I am so excited and grateful to be a part of it!

Cons

None. Very positive atmosphere to be a part of
